FJ Cruiser Review

FJ Cruiser Review: For Toyota FJ Cruiser Owners and Wannabe Owners.

September of 2011 – I purchased my dream 4×4 vehicle from Crown Toyota in Ontario, California, a 2011 Toyota FJ Cruiser. This site, FJ Cruiser Review, will detail my adventures wheeling my new rig and, of course, building the FJ Cruiser over time.

FJ Cruiser Review has some decent resources to help along the way. For one, All Pro Off Road, the original Toyota 4×4 specialists, is nearby. I live in Temecula and All Pro is located in Hemet, 20 just miles away. While All Pro got its start as a rock crawling specialist for Toyota trucks and 4Runners, they now carry the best products to build Tacomas and FJ Cruisers to any level of capability you can imagine. FJ Cruiser Review will be making some trips to All Pro.

It also helps that All Pro Off Road is owned by my brother, Jon Bundrant. Now, before you assume that anything about me just because my brother won the world championship of rock crawling at the 2003 Supercrawl, I’d like to confess that I am a novice. Jon and I, in spite of being blood brothers, are cut from different molds. Jon is a mechanical genius and I’m a mechanical retard, for one. My expertise lies in a different realm and that is outside the scope of this site.

So, in spite of having owned a killer ’87 4Runner built to the hilt as a rock crawler and driven the trails at the hammers of Johnson Valley with the likes of Jon Bundrant and John Nelson, I consider myself a newbie with a lot to learn.

FJ Cruiser Review will be record the journey and I hope to attract like-minded people in the process. I’ll set out to prove that you don’t need to be a pro to enjoy some killer trails and fully engage in the sport of wheelin’ your 4×4. You just need to surround yourself with the right people (and be able to pay them for help when needed). So, enjoy FJ Cruiser Review and don’t call me for advice…
